A well-known, established hospital founded in 1881, is looking for talent to join us.

Summary of Duties:

Performing executive duties such as sourcing for material needs as per user’s request, monitoring of delivery of items, analyze of purchase based on data collection, generate weekly report, negotiating competitive prices (cost savings) and solving any complaints from other departments.

You will need to: 

1. Assist In Purchasing for All Items

  • Assist in sourcing for quotations for ALL items include medical equipment, instrument, hospital furniture, office furniture, medical consumable, etc. according to user’s requirement
  • Assist in preparing price comparison bid sheet for all items purchased
  • Assist in arranging for demo unit for medical equipment(s), hospital furniture, office furniture, etc.
  • Assist in issuing Purchase Order for Fixed Asset items
  • To do weekly follow-up delivery on fixed asset items from vendor through phone call and follow by written communication 
  • Assist in negotiating with vendor for any bulk purchase/package purchase/contract purchase/FOC 

2. Assist In Other Operational Task

  • To assist in other operational daily task in the absence of Purchasing Executive /Purchasing Clerk
  • Assist in distributing samples for evaluation, collecting evaluation form and tabulating of data for presentation
  • Assist in recording for tender documents during opening of tender
  • To generate weekly report for any outstanding deliveries for fixed asset items
  • To close outstanding all categories Purchase Order which is more than six months
  • Assist in liaising with vendor for any product complaint related matters

Who are we looking for? 

  • The candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in the Purchasing Department, along with one of the following qualifications: Diploma Advanced/Higher/Graduate, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in fields such as Business Studies/Administration/Management, Purchasing, Inventory, or Commerce.
  • The candidate should possess computer literacy.
