Sustainability & Environmental (REC & ESG Sales)

Position: Sustainability (REC Executive)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research on renewable energy and REC trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
  • Collect and analyze data to produce clear reports for business decisions.
  • Support REC operations including registration, tracking, documentation, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records for reporting, audits, and certifications.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client education materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on sustainability and REC-related projects.
  • Liaise with external parties such as regulators, certification bodies, and partners.
  • Provide data insights to support business development and client discussions.
  • Stay updated on renewable energy policies, ESG frameworks, and REC mechanisms.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Business, or related field;
    OR 2–3 years relevant experience in sustainability or REC-related roles.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear and professional communication (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data reporting tools.

Experience:

  • 2–3 years of experience in sustainability, renewable energy, REC operations, or environmental commodities.

Languages:

  • English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).

Position: Sustainability (ESG Sales/Consultant)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and close new sales opportunities for ESG and sustainability solutions.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Conduct research to identify key decision-makers and ESG/ sustainability needs.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Deliver product demonstrations based on customer needs and challenges.
  • Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close high-value deals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide timely sales forecasts.
  • Stay up to date with ESG regulations, market trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Support market expansion strategies and provide insights to improve sales performance.
  • Mentor junior sales team members and support recruitment when needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sustainability, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in ESG, sustainability, SaaS, or corporate solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage full sales cycles and close deals.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and sales reporting.
  • Language skills: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written).
  • Self-driven, strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills.
