About us
Medisys provides automation and technology solutions to healthcare sector in Malaysia and Singapore, including automation robots and their supporting systems. We are growing our Malaysia support team and need a hands-on Field Service Engineer to look after our equipment at customer sites.
Key responsibilities
- Provide onsite support at customer sites, mainly hospitals in the Klang Valley.
- Carry out first-level troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical and software issues, and escalate to the technical team when needed.
- Guide end user on how to use the equipment day to day.
- Respond to user questions, service requests and reported faults quickly and professionally.
- Do routine checks and preventive maintenance, and keep accurate service and attendance logs.
- Keep a good working relationship with users.
- Support installations, relocations and upgrades when required.
What we’re looking for
- A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic mechanical and technical skills, including the use of hand tools and reading simple drawings.
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of Windows or networking is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure and handle users professionally.
- Your own transport and a valid driving licence.
- Willingness to work Saturdays or weekends on a roster.
- Fresh graduates are welcome. Experience in medical equipment, automation or field service is an advantage.
