Overall Job Responsibility

Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving production test systems to ensure test reliability, product quality, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities

Set up, validate, maintain, and troubleshoot production test stations, including In-Circuit Test (ICT) and Functional Circuit Test (FCT) systems.
Develop, modify, debug, and maintain test programs; software, and test fixtures according to customer specifications and production requirements,
Manage test equipment, fixtures, calibration, and preventive maintenance to ensure production readiness and minimize downtime.
Support New Product Introduction (NN) and product transfers, including test development, validation, and production readiness.
Review product designs and provide Design for Testability (DFD feedback and recommendations to customers
Prepare, update, and maintain test work instructions, test procedures, test programs, firmware, and related technical documentation.
Provide technical assistance to the Product Failure Analysis Engineer in troubleshooting production failures and customer-returned units.
Monitor production test yield, test coverage, and tester performance to identify and implement improvement opportunities
Ensure proper revision control of test programs, firmware, and tester configurations, including test-result traceability where applicable.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Other Engineering teams to resolve test-related issues and improve production efficiency.
Participate in continuous improvement, test automation, and cost-reduction activities to enhance test reliability and productivity.
Perform other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 – 4 years of relevant preferably in an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
Knowledge of ICC, PCBA testing, functional testing, and automated test.
