What you’ll be doing?
- Financial Leadership: Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with MFRS and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
- Strategic Planning: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights to guide management decisions.
- Manufacturing Excellence: Optimize product costing, analyze manufacturing KPIs, and drive cost-efficiency improvements.
- Cash Flow Management: Ensure robust liquidity and working capital management to support operational stability.
- Compliance Champion: Stay ahead of regulatory changes and ensure timely submission of all tax filings and statutory requirements.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- IPO Preparation: Play a critical role in preparing the company for its initial public offering, ensuring all financial processes meet regulatory standards.
Who are they looking for?
- Finance Professional: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
- Experienced Leader: Bring at least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial role within manufacturing.
- IPO Expertise: Previous experience in IPO preparation or working in a listed company environment is highly valued.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrate strong understanding of MFRS, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and Malaysian corporate governance guidelines.
- Manufacturing Insight: Experience in product costing, manufacturing financial analysis, and ERP systems is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excel in leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive team success.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Malay to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and manage regulatory requirements.
