Senior System Analyst/ Engineer (1-Year Renewable Contract) @Mid Valley Southkey

Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Optimization: Perform proactive maintenance, patching, tuning, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues quickly to maintain system stability and integrity.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Leads, and the IT team to resolve issues, ensuring that solutions are viable, scalable, and align with business goals.
- Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough requirement and justification studies to support decision-making in system design and enhancements.
- Design & Code Review: Perform detailed reviews of design documents and code to ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive system guides and manuals to facilitate organizational knowledge sharing and effective system usage.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year in a relevant role (system analysis, design, programming, or testing).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using Javascript / Typescript and capable of developing front-end applications with Vue / React.
- Proficient in using Java/Springboot/MyBatis to develop back-end programs.
- Strong SQL development skills and familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and etc.)
- Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Mandarin-speaking for effective collaboration with onshore and offshore Mandarin-speaking teams.
- Independence & Detail Orientation: Ability to work independently with a strong focus on precision and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills (Good to have):
- Knowledge of Supply Chain business domains.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud computing (development or administration).
- Experience with Containers (Docker), REST API, MQ, Redis.
- Skilled in performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
