Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and record accounting entries, including daily transactions, weekly and month-end closings, and financial year-end closing with related account schedules.
2. Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets, ensuring timely PO matching, invoice processing, and payment voucher entries in SAP.
3. Perform reconciliations, including bank reconciliation, creditor aging, and expense vs sales ratio reports.
4. Maintain and update asset registers, including small-value assets, asset disposal, and depreciation records.
5. Handle SST sales invoice entries and reporting, expense tracking, and forecast preparation.
6. Liaise with vendors, creditors, and customers to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments/collections.
7. Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, documentation, and journal entries.
8. Check and verify utilities and other operational expenses; maintain proper filing of finance-related documents.
9. Assist in ad-hoc projects, special reports, and analysis within stipulated deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS
· The candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Accounting / Accounting Certificate (LCCI, ACCA) or equivalent experience, minimum of 2 years’ experience in full set of account.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting with minimal supervision.
· Ability to multitask and adapt to dynamic changes in business.
· Familiar in SAP System will be added advantage.
· Pro-active, self-motivated and eager to acquire knowledge.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Communication, analytical, problem solving skills.
· Ability to meet monthly and year-end closing deadlines.
