Executive, IT Support is responsible to support group’s business operations by providing IT Support and maintenance services requested by end users or in accordance with planned preventive maintenance schedule. Implement projects and ensuring hardware, software & communication equipment, and application work effectively and efficiently.

You will play an important role in:

1. IT Support Operation

  • Provide a variety of services on computer system (Hardware, Software, Network and Equipment) such as installing, configuring, diagnosing hardware and software issues to ensure systems runs smoothly.
  • Provide first level support for HQ, and extended support to Cinemas and Clouds.
  • Ensure to adhere to GSC IT Security Policies.
  • Provide IT troubleshooting, recommendations, and advise for all hardware, software, and network related issues.
  • Monitoring systems’ health conditions and provide support when necessary.
  • Laison and assist IT vendors when required.
  • Incident escalation to next level when necessary.

2. Project Management

  • Assist in IT Project implementation for HQ including UAT within the agreed timelines.
  • Provide post support and maintenance after the project deployed.

3. Preparing Reports & Monitoring Results

  • Collect, summarise, analyse, quantify information and updating management on performance and maintenance of support activities.
  • Review & monitor actual results against targets set.

4. Professionalism and Knowledge

  • Maintain professionalism & technical knowledge including keeping updated on technical trends and industry’s best practices.
  • Initiate, advise and coordinate improvement and maintain level of competence towards industry standards.

5. Contributes to Team Effort

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the company’s management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Must possess at least Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in engineering / information technology or equivalent.
  • Professional certification in IT related fields would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3-year experiences of IT support experience in enterprise level and key account management, preferably a record of achievement and technical solution expertise in IT applications or in a similar sales role
  • Experience in POS/Ticketing system will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Own transport preferred (to travel to cinema locations). Willingness to travel on short notice in responding towards the support required in cinema location. 
  • Knowledge in IT support for Windows OS and Linux OS platform, VM, O365, Sharepoint online, Active Directory and Ms SQL. 
  • Knowledge in Oracle an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in IT infrastructure and managing daily IT Operations
  • Knowledge in Data Centre, Clouds environment an added advantage.

Ability in problem diagnosis and problem solving.
