Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and general ledger entries.
  • Manage timely closing of monthly accounts and analyse financial reports to provide insights into company’s financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget, forecast, management assessment and analysis.
  • Supervise the accounts team and collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, government authorities, bankers and others.
  • Prepare year end financial report, income and deferred tax calculation and quarterly consolidated accounts to be submitted to BURSA. 
  • Other ad hoc duties and projects assigned by management.


  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with Professional Qualification and a member of MIA (Malaysian Institute of Accountants).
  • Experience in audit firm is preferred with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Accountant.
  • Having experience in oil palm plantation and refinery industry is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Accounting Standards (MFRS) and taxation law.
  • Possess excellent leadership skills, detail-orientated, self-motivated and able to meet deadline.
  • Effective communication skills and able to exercise good judjement in decision making and solving issues.
