Jobs Responsibility:
- Handle account payables, account receivables and preparation of journals
- Any other ad hoc assignment
Account Receivables (AR)
- Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices
- Preparation of billings and capture payments from customers
- Prepare and issue client invoices
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any billing or credit-related issues
- Record and allocate incoming payments accurately
- Prepare debtor statements and credit control function
- Process credit notes in accordance with company policies
- Provide regular reporting on aged receivables and account status
Account Payables (AP)
- Process suppliers & installers invoices, payment vouchers, and staff claims
- Prepare monthly payment schedules and ensure timely payments
- Preparation of online remittances or cheque payments to suppliers
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and entered into the accounting system in a timely manner.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including bills, payments, and receipts.
Audit and Compliances
- Prepare schedule for audit and tax compliance purpose.
- Prepare and submit electronic invoices in accordance with local e-invoicing requirements.
- Provide financial and administrative support to other departments as required.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least LCCI, or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably in the construction industry.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Experience with bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
