ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsible for supervising warehouse personnel and overseeing all electrical warehouse operations to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate handling of materials. This includes maintaining quality standards, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in all operational matters.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Staff Competency & Training – Ensure all warehouse staff possess the required skills to perform their duties effectively. Coordinate cross‑training and retraining programs to maintain operational readiness.
- Process Control & compliance- Ensure all the warehouse processes follow established SOP, process control guidelines and relevant checklists to maintain accuracy, safety, and quality.
- Documentation & Workflow -Prepare and update SOPs, process guidelines, and simplified work instructions for warehouse personnel to ensure consistent process execution.
- Equipment & Tool Calibration-Ensure all measuring tools, electrical handling devices, and warehouse equipment are calibrated and maintained according to required standards.
- Accuracy in Material Handling- Ensure all receiving, put‑away, picking, and issuance activities follow the correct procedures and comply with documented guidance.
- Abnormality Escalation- -Highlight any process abnormalities, discrepancies, or quality issues to the appropriate engineer or supervisor and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Inventory Availability- Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory is available for continuous warehouse operations and timely issuance to production or maintenance teams.
- Warehouse Equipment Maintenance-Ensure all warehouse machinery, tools, and equipment—such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and electrical handling units—are well maintained and safe for operation.
- Housekeeping & 5S Compliance- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse at all times in accordance with 5S principles.
- Timely Reporting- Ensure all required warehouse reports—such as stock variance, equipment maintenance, attendance, efficiency, loss analysis, scrap/return reports, and daily activity summaries—are submitted accurately and on time.
- Effective Communications -Maintain clear and effective communication with all levels of staff, including operators, supervisors, and management.
- Timely Reporting- Ensure all required warehouse reports—such as stock variance, equipment maintenance, attendance, efficiency, loss analysis, scrap/return reports, and daily activity summaries—are submitted accurately and on time.
- Quality Record Accuracy- Review and verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of warehouse quality and inventory records.
- Induction for New Staff- Plan and Conduct and Onboarding training sessions for new warehouse employees.
- Disciplinary Management -Take appropriate disciplinary action in cases of inefficiency, misconduct, or violation of warehouse rules and regulations.
- Leave Management- Approve staff leave responsibly to ensure minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
- Talent identification & Development -Identify high -performing subordinates and prepare suitable training and promotion plans to support talent development.
- Training Needs Identification- Assess and recommend relevant internal or external training programs for staff improvement.
- Other Duties- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education Background Diploma in engineering or technical certificate.
- Work Experience With 3 years’ experience in the manufacturing environment.
