About the role
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our finance team at Pin Wang Frozen Food Sdn Bhd in Kulai Johor. This full-time position will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s financial records and supporting the broader accounting operations.
What you’ll be doing
- Key Responsibilities:· Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL)· Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation· Monitor manufacturing costs, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods· Prepare costing reports, BOM costing, and variance analysis· Ensure accurate monthly closing and financial reporting· Assist in reporting, audit schedules, and statutory submissions· Liaise with suppliers, operations, and production teams on cost-related matters· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization· Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and receipts· Reconciling bank statements and accounts· Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements· Providing administrative support to the accounting team· Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support
What we’re looking for
- · Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field· Experience with inventory, manufacturing accounting process· Proficient in bookkeeping and small practice accounting procedures· Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills· Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications· Strong organisational and time management skills· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
