Job Responsibilities:
· To ensure that production processes run / operate smoothly, efficiently and safely to meet production targets and product quality standards.
· To implement the company policies instructed by the top management.
· To ensure that the factory and operation complies with the GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HALAL & OSH requirements.
· Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
· Coordinate with other departments such as Purchasing, Maintenance, Warehouse / Logistic to ensure smooth production flow.
· Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials and equipment, to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
· Implement and maintain SOP and quality control procedures to ensure that products meet specified quality standards.
· To ensure that the machinery and equipment in the factory / department are appropriately maintained according to the preventive maintenance schedules.
· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
· Coordinate with Safety and Health Office to conduct regular safety inspections and trainings to promote a culture of safety awareness and accident prevention.
· Recruit, train, and supervise production staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
· To design and delegate responsibilities to the subordinates at their respective area in the factory / department.
· To ensure that the personnel in the factory / department are efficient in carrying out their respective duties and tasks.
· To instill and educate the discipline of the workers at the workplace and their attitude towards their jobs.
· Lead and guide the team members, including setting performance objectives and conducting performance evaluations.
· To analyze and check the reports and put forward the plan / scheme for improvement.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
· Implement lean manufacturing principles and the other best practices to streamline operations and minimize waste.
· To monitor production output according to production schedule.
· Other responsibilities as delegated by the Group Managing Director and Group CEO from time to time.
Job Requirement:
· Candidate must possess minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Economics, Food Science or equivalent.
· At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
· Able to communicate in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts.
· Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
· Accurate and precise attention to detail.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
· Mandarin speaker to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
