The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s steel products while building and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, preparing quotations, negotiating prices, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities:
· Sell the company’s steel products (e.g. steel coils, sheets, and related products).
· Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
· Identify and acquire new customers.
· Prepare quotations and handle price negotiations.
· Manage customer orders and coordinate delivery schedules.
· Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Logistics, QC, QA, Finance, etc.) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
· Analyze market trends and develop sales strategies.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
· Experience in sales, purchasing, or production control is preferred.
· Experience in a steel service center, steel industry, trading house, or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
· Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Customer-oriented with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
· Proactive, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
· Results-driven with strong numerical skills and a focus on achieving sales targets.
· A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Qualification:
· Minimum SPM qualification. Candidates with a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
· Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
