To manage and administer payroll processes, employee benefits, compensation programs, and monthly reporting accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. about the job
Payroll Administration
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing.
- Prepare payroll reports, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and employee data in the HRIS.
- Coordinate with Finance on payroll funding and general ledger posting.
- Handling statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax).
Compensation & Benefits
- Support the implementation of salary structures, bonus schemes, and incentive plans.
- Administer employee benefit programs (medical, insurance, leave, etc.).
- Participate in salary benchmarking and market surveys.
- Assist in annual compensation reviews and merit increment cycles.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to local labour laws and tax regulations.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external audits.
- Maintain the confidentiality of payroll and compensation information.
Employee Support
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and leave.
- Onboard new employees with compensation and benefits information.
- Offboard employees with final pay, tax clearance, and benefit termination.
LHDN Document Stamping
- Prepare, submit, monitor, and follow up on all LHDN (Inland Revenue Board Malaysia) stamping matters for employment-related documents (e.g., employment contracts, letters, agreements).
- Ensure timely processing and accurate documentation in accordance with LHDN requirements.
- Maintain an organised record and database of all documents sent for stamping.
skills & experience required
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in payroll and compensation & benefits.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and equipped with problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with HRIS/payroll software (e.g., SQL Payroll, SAP, Workday, FlexHR, etc.).
