Responsibilities:
- Support Planning department for delivery schedule commitment to customers.
- Source and purchase electronics and mechanical parts.
- Support new product transfer project.
- Manage supplier base to achieve competitive cost, quality and delivery performance.
- Generate purchase order, expedite and reschedule order and handle excess inventory (inventory control management).
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support the plant operation and manufacturing needs.
- Handle supplier shipment discrepancies.
- Any ad hoc task assigned by superior.
Requirements:
- At least a degree, preferably in Materials Management / Supply Chain Management / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is required for this position. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Meticulous and team player.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
- Willing to work in Perai, Penang.
