Main Responsibilities
- Prepare and fry chicken according to Rovers Fried Chicken SOP to ensure crispy, juicy, and consistent quality
- Marinate, coat, and handle chicken properly before frying
- Operate frying equipment safely (deep fryer, gas stove, oil filter if any)
- Monitor oil temperature and frying time to maintain food quality
- Prepare side items (if required) such as sauces, marinades, or garnishes
- Ensure food is cooked halal, clean, and hygienic
- Pack orders neatly for dine-in or takeaway
Cleanliness & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, fryer area, and equipment at all times
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Dispose of waste and used oil properly
- Wear proper kitchen attire (apron, gloves, hair cover)
- Follow workplace safety rules to avoid burns and accidentsTeamwork & Attitude
- Work well with cashier and other kitchen staff
- Follow instructions from supervisor
- Requirements
- Experience needed for the job especially as a fryer
- Know how to update the SOP which is not available (this is an advantage)
- Experience in fried chicken or kitchen work is a must
- Honest, hardworking, and responsible
