The Site Engineer will be reporting to Project Manager
Job Overview
The Site Engineer will assist the Project Manager in all project matters including site coordination, site visits, reports, monitoring procurement and delivery of goods to site, liaison with authority, contractors and external consultant etc. The candidate shall also assist in all tendering exercise where necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned project.
- To attend meeting with consultants and authorities
- To assist procurement team to carry out and execute the procurement plan including checking and reviewing documents.
- To ensure compliance of project in accordance to authority and client requirement.
- To prepare presentation slides when necessary.
- To liaise with authority for permits, license and approval required for the project.
- To prepare work method statement for consultant/authority approval.
- To ensure compliance of ISO documentation procedure is adhered all the time.
- To keep tract of construction drawings from time to time.
- To assist contract department in tendering exercise.
Requirements
- Degree holder preferable in Civil Engineering /Mechanical / Electrical/Environmental.
- Preferable more than 2 years of experience in site for JPS, Water or Sewerage Treatment Plant.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel and Words.
- A team player, Pro-active, self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skill.
- Willing to work outstation based on project location
- Possess own transport.
