Responsibilities:

· Oversee the Tooling department and ensure all tooling processes are running smoothly
· Develop and implement tooling policies and procedures for the department
· Ensure all tooling equipment is maintained and repaired as needed
· Train and supervise tooling technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure tooling needs are met for new product development and production
· Ensure the tooling department meets production schedules and quality standards
· Monitor tooling costs and make recommendations for cost savings
· Stay up-to-date on industry developments and technological advancements in tooling

Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling and manufacturing processes
· Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team of technicians and engineers
· Experience in budget management and cost reduction initiatives
· Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend innovative solutions
· Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols
· Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
· Able to go overseas for training
· Mandarin-speaking is an advantage.
