Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Apprehend the closing Journals (like Accruals, Prepayment, Provisions) and ensure the appropriateness of the backups provided.
- Any other duties assigned by the superior.
- Handle multiple accounts.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Organizing and maintaining Excel workbooks for financial data.
- Creating and formatting reports using Excel for various financial purposes.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
