Job Location: Bakong, Miri (Estate)
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate safety & health implementation programs within the organization, identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate safety and health controls.
- Ensure compliance with all safety & health requirements and standards, while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the company’s operations.
- Centralize the monitoring and reporting of safety & health performance. Develop and maintain a safety & health management plan and an event calendar for all operations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor MSPO documentation, including Safety & Health requirements and environmental regulations.
- Manage all documentation related to legal compliance, MSPO, and data processes. Ensure timely submission of reports and assist other departments in compiling or providing necessary data.
- Conduct MSPO briefings and training sessions to ensure estate operations comply with MSPO Standards.
- Liaise with various departments to compile information and documentation related to compliance, sustainability, and MSPO certification.
- Plan, document, and prioritize compliance activities to meet MSPO certification requirements, regulatory obligations, and guidelines.
- Prepare and update relevant reports and data for management review.
- Carry out any other ad hoc assignments as required by management.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a certified Green Book holder.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in Safety & Health Management and/or MSPO certification. Experience in the oil palm plantation industry is highly preferred.
- Strong Communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
