Our client “Heah Seok Yeong Realty Sdn Bhd” is seeking an Accounts Executive to join their team!

What you’ll be doing?

  • Financial Management: Process accounting transactions, maintain accurate accounts, and ensure compliance with MPERS and Malaysian tax regulations.
  • Monthly Reporting: Review and close monthly operational accounts, providing critical financial data to support informed business decisions.
  • Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile various financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial records.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline accounting workflows and documentation processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparing for statutory audits and tax computations, ensuring smooth and compliant financial operations.
  • Inventory Control: Perform periodic inventory control and stock audits to maintain accurate records of company assets.
  • Budget Planning: Support the annual budgeting process and review revised budgets as needed.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance and training on accounting procedures to team members as required.

Who are they looking for?

  • Educational Background: A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance, with the ability to handle complex financial tasks.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Autocount Accounting Software and Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge of ERP or plantation software systems being an advantage.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with MPERS and Malaysian tax regulations to ensure compliance in all financial operations.
  • Personal Qualities: A self-motivated individual with high emotional intelligence, integrity, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in all financial records and reports.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work extra hours and travel when required, demonstrating commitment to the role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities in English to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
