Job Purpose:
Handle the technical aspects of provisioning, setting up virtual machines, storage, networks, and application services.
Job Responsibility:
- Provision and configure cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, network components) based on project and workload requirements.
- Develop and manage scripts or templates for automated provisioning, reducing deployment time and ensuring consistency.
- Ensure that resources are provisioned following security and compliance standards, minimizing vulnerabilities from the start.
- Maintain documentation of provisioning workflows and configurations for transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Track performance metrics, including provisioning time, resource utilization, and incident response efficiency.
- Support the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency in service delivery.
- Prepare regular reports on cloud operations, providing insights on resource efficiency, provisioning trends, and potential improvements.
- Use data to identify operations bottlenecks and recommend improvements in resource allocation and management.
- Provide input on cloud infrastructure requirements for new projects, supporting strategic planning and capacity forecasting.
Competencies:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Possess basic understanding of operating systems, virtualization and cloud platforms.
- Possess basic understanding of networking, firewalls and security best practices.
- Possess basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
Qualification Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Cloud or related field.
- 1 – 2 years of relevant experience is ideal, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
