ESH Engineer

Job Responsibilities :-

Applicant must willing to work in Port Klang, Selangor

1. Implement and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 system
2. Plan, execute and report to committee and DOSH monitoring requirement, CHRA, Noise Risk Assessment
3. Coordinate Stack emission monitoring
4. HIRARC and EAI review and actual implementation
5. Update Chemical register as per JKKP’s requirement
6. Coordinate plant wide waste management
7. Periodical review of compliance obligation and report to Management
8. Prepare comprehensive safety briefing training materials for different levels of understanding (DL, IDL and contractor)
9. Responsible in arranging EHS committee meeting and submit minutes of meeting to all the Managerial level and EHS committee members
10. Plan and carry out EHS related training i.e Safety briefing, Hearing Conservation Program, Scheduled Waste training, Chemical labelling training
11. Update EHS weekly report
12. Implement Chemical Prior Assessment Requisition (CPAR) in the company
13. Manage Scheduled Waste Room as per regulation requirement
14. Involve in overall system performance (RBA, GHG)
15. EMS and OHSMS internal auditor
16. Conduct accident investigation and verify the corrective and preventive actions taken by Department
17. E-swiss maintenance and upkeep

Job Requirement:-

1. Bachelor Degree in related field in Occupational Safety and Health with Safety Officer certification (Safety Health Officer, SHO Green Book certification)
2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health, Safety and Environment in Plant working environment. Electrical and Electronics working experience is an added advantages
3. Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems such as ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001, Environmental Management Systems such as Incident Investigation and other related activities
4. Valid CePSWAM (Schedule Waste Competent Person) will be an added advantage
5. Experienced in Internal and External Audit
6. Good in EHS procedure and write up
7. Good in analytical, team player and independent
8. Good communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin will be an added advantage
