Internship – Data Analysis & Evaluation (Machinery Exposure)

We are looking for a motivated and analytical intern to support our team in data collection, analysis, and evaluation tasks, with an opportunity for hands-on experience in machinery diagnostics and minor maintenance tasks (optional). The role is suitable for a degree holder seeking meaningful industrial exposure and applied learning in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing operational and technical data from various sources.
- Perform data analysis and generate reports to support business decision-making.
- Evaluate process efficiency, highlight irregularities or trends, and propose data-driven insights.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data validation and performance monitoring.
- (Optional) Participate in basic troubleshooting and hands-on inspection of machinery under supervision.
- Present findings clearly to internal stakeholders in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work processes and outcomes.
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- CGPA: Minimum 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
- Language: Proficient in both English (MUET: Band 4 and above) and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written).
- Technical Skills:
- Familiar with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python, or similar).
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems is an added advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-driven, reliable, and eager to learn.
