About the Role
As a Performance Tester at Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and responsiveness of our client’s mission-critical software applications. Working in a contract position based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive performance testing strategies to identify and address any performance bottlenecks or issues.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture, user workflows, and performance requirements
- Define and implement appropriate performance testing scenarios, load models, and test plans
- Utilise industry-leading performance testing tools to generate realistic user load and monitor application behaviour under various load conditions
- Analyse test results, identify performance issues, and provide recommendations for optimisation
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related problems
- Automate performance testing processes to ensure consistent and efficient testing
- Document testing processes, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Performance Tester or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
- Familiarity with performance testing methodologies, metrics, and best practices
- Understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, TCP/IP, and network protocols
- Ability to analyse and interpret performance data to identify bottlenecks and optimisation opportunities
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot complex performance issues
