Job Description:
- Implement, manage and troubleshoot network devices such as wireless access points, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Monitor, test, and troubleshoot network performance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Manage IT and network assets, including maintaining asset updates, inventory and documenting technical specifications.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software.
- Provide first level IT and Network Helpdesk Support.
- Provide onsite IT support to outlets during business operations .
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks by superior from time-to-time.
- Support standby ( remote / onsite ) for weekends and public holidays.
- Involve in vendor management on maintenance services related with CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Alarm Systems and IT related.
- Perform basic CCTV administration.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least SPM / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with IT specialisation.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to create network diagrams and documentation.
- Good understanding and experience in LAN, WAN, and network security overall.
- Familiar with Bandwidth and performance analysis tools (e.g. Netflow) and SNMP based NMS.
- Familiar with VPN, SDWan and Site to site VPN with multi-factor authentication.
- Require travel to the outlets and must possess own vehicle for transportation of IT equipment’s when needed.
