To help us continue expanding our offerings, we are in search of Procurement Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Request quotation for new items from supplier which related to dryer parts & accessories, non-consumable and stationery, etc.
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and agreements.
- Ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing and product availability.
- Create and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing and supplier information.
- Check ‘Purchase Requisition’ prior issue of Purchase Order to supplier.
- Handle reject / replacement to supplier and follow up necessary action required.
- Monitor minimum stock for non-consumable based on stock report provided by STORE dept.
- Counter check & approved suppliers’ invoices and pass to Account department to prepare payment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements and ethical standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years working experience in a manufacturing field.
- Knowledge in engineering source is advantages.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Great organizational and planning skills.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
