About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our dynamic team at Asian Trails (M) Sdn Bhd. This full-time role is based in our Kuala Lumpur office and will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
What you’ll be doing generally
- Handling inbound and outbound calls from customers, addressing their queries and resolving their issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Providing accurate information about our products and services, and assisting customers with bookings and reservations
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and identifying areas for improvement
- Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and updating customer information in our systems
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Adhering to company policies and procedures to provide a consistent and high-quality service
What you’ll be doing in daily to do list
- Prepare Welcome Folder and arrange Welcome Meeting at hotel within 24 hours from clients’ arrival time
- Provide itinerary, ground supports, optional tours sales and other crucial details to client.
- Respond to clients’ questions and concerns in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat and report any irregularity/problems to superior.
- Prepare and submit daily report of Optional Sales and cash collection
- Prepare monthly report update on hotels, works, events, news and available products.
- Handle the company’s hotline (24/7 on rotation basis), attend to clients request on the ground and conduct investigation on complaints.
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 year of experience in a customer service or call centre role, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different customer needs
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think on your feet
- Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in Malay and other languages an advantage
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a genuine passion for helping others
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
