Customer Service Assistant

Main Duties

  • Providing information such as mall information or directories to customers.
  • To attend to customer (both shoppers and tenants) complaints, feedback, requests, and problems and ensure these are resolved quickly and tactfully.
  • To attend to emergencies and respond accordingly, e.g. as first aider to injuries.
  • To follow up with respective departments on incidents and mall defects as reported by tenants and customers.
  • Assisting lost children and lost & found issues.
  • Answering phone inquiries with regards to the mall.

Other Duties

  • To ensure cleanliness of counters, service equipment & accurate inventory control.
  • Ensure baby strollers and wheelchairs are in good working condition and maintained at a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Inter-Departmental interaction – work closely with advertising & promotions, event, security, carpark, maintenance, leasing, operations, housekeeping and related departments to ensure smooth daily operations of the mall.
  • Making announcements and paging over the public address system.
  • To attend to any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and tools.
  • Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and Public holidays.
