SENIOR EXECUTIVE- GENERAL LEDGER

- Check and verify general ledger (GL) related journals; receipts and payments to ensure documents and approvals are in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure all transactions are completed and accurately updated into the financial system on a timely basis.
- Issuance of Invoice to non-sewerage debtors. Check, verify and prepare billings to third parties to ensure all issued documents are supported and approved in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor non-sewerage debt recovery.
- Coordinate, check and ensure audit/tax schedules are prepared correctly and accurately in accordance with the requirements of the management, auditors and tax agent (statutory reporting) before the stipulated deadline.
- Coordinate, check and verify sewerage/responsive billing and collection related records and transactions to ensure all transactions are completely and accurately updated to the financial system and prepare the relevant schedules or reconciliation before the stipulated deadline.
- Check revenue and collection data from Certification System and any errors or issues are reported to IT department/Certifying Agency & Development Control Section in order for them to rectify before finance closing.
- Check SST collection file for submission to Royal Malaysian Customs Department every 2 months.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or MICPA/ACCA/CIMA qualified. Member of MIA.
- Minimum of 7 years working experience related to financial accounting.
- Knowledge in SAP system is an added advantage.
- Result driven, hands-on, proactive and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently, analytical thinker, good problem-solving skills including analytical and reasoning abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- PC literate in Microsoft Office.
