Head of Operations

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies for the deployment and maintenance of gold ATM machines.
  • Oversee the rollout of new ATM locations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands.
  • Monitor performance metrics to optimize operations and achieve business goals.

2. ATM Deployment:

  • Plan and coordinate the installation of gold ATMs, ensuring site readiness and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify and secure strategic locations for ATM placement.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective deployment.

3. Restocking Operations:

  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of ATM restocking processes to maintain optimal gold inventory levels.
  • Develop and enforce protocols to ensure the security of gold during transportation and replenishment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast restocking needs to prevent shortages or overstocking.

4. Maintenance and Technical Support:

  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure all ATMs are operational and comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and repair costs.
  • Address and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor the operations team, including deployment, restocking, and maintenance personnel.
  • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training programs to enhance team competencies and adherence to operational standards.

6. Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement robust security measures to protect assets, employees, and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of ATM transactions, restocking, and maintenance activities for audits and reporting.

7. Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and resource optimization.
  • Evaluate operational costs and identify opportunities for savings without compromising quality or performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the financial services or gold trading industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of ATM operations, inventory management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
