Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop process control system and good manufacturing practices.
- Direct involvement in solving technical problems or processes. Demonstrates the use of the 6-sigma and others lean problem-solving tools
- Lead in process development and implementation of methods, processes, or automation techniques, for new and existing processes and products.
- Able to research, understand and implement new technologies for possible cost saving and budget
- Carry out process improvement to eliminate waste and increase production efficiency.
- Write and update work instructions and other documents for new process development (e.g., specifications and procedures.)
Traits for make a strong candidate:
Degree in engineering or technically related field, engineering process management, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience; or a demonstrated capability to perform the duties of the job
Proven experience in process improvement, leading and / or facilitating projects with a record of successful implementation. Knowledge in Polymer Science products manufacturing is highly valued.
To have a wide variety of materials knowledge and manufacturing methods
Process Qualification and Validation experiences.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools, MINITAB, FMEA, Control Plan, Pareto, and Project Management
Six sigma yellow or green belt holder
Good problem-solving and influencing skills.
