What you’ll do:
- Supervise Team Members in:
- Performing market mapping and shortlisting exercise of infrastructure funds, preparation of relevant analysis, proposal papers throughout the screening, preliminary & full diligence processes
- Performing evaluation of direct and co-investments, execution of due diligence
- Supporting the overall deal process including the preparation of investment presentation materials, legal and compliance processes required for the completion of the transaction and capital call process
- Monitoring of portfolio companies and investments, including cultivating relationships with stakeholders of portfolio companies and investments, value creation exercise, and review of on-going investment performance including preparation of bi-annual unquoted valuation exercise
- The monitoring of relevant SPVs including regulatory & compliance issues as well as any relevant administrative matters
- Participate in communication with investment partners or stakeholders via calls, site visits, and meetings on a regular basis to gather updates on investment performance, opportunities and deployment and;
- Supervise, review and perform corporate exercises/strategic initiatives for portfolio companies and investments to enhance the value or monetize the investments, by engaging the stakeholders of PNB and the management of the portfolio companies or manager of investments and working with relevant advisors and supporting the corresponding transactions/initiatives.
What you’ll bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in in Accounting / Finance / Investment / Business Economics or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in private equity / corporate finance / investment analysis / investment portfolio management
- CFA would be considered an added advantage
- Have sound working knowledge and solid technical skills including financial analysis, deep understanding of financial reports, financial modelling, valuation, report writing and investment analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation skills
- Excellent command in English and Bahasa Melayu
