Job Responsibilities:

  • Executing development of new products and improving existing products by searching, identifying and applying the most appropriate technology to achieve the desire results within the desire time frame to secure the targeted commercial advantages;
  • Managing the day to day activities in the laboratory and responsible for their development, work effectiveness and efficiency by providing training, guidance and instruction from time to time;
  • Maintaining and updating the related Standard Procedures, work instruction including analysis method, specification, recipe, food package labeling and document all project/ trial activities;
  • Providing technical supports on trouble shooting including processing procedures, preparation of ingredients and packaging process to ensure final products meet the quality requirements;
  • Responsible to record results and prepare reports of all R&D activities;
  • Understand and work with Regulatory and Quality compliance department on compliance of quality system requirements, other regulatory standards and safety, application of Halal certification and ensure product compliance to Food Act and regulation standard from the aspects of ingredients and nutritional, responsible to respond to customers’ technical inquiries;
  • Site visit for product performance and integrity assessment when required;
  • Expect to provide an intellectual and interactive commitment to the position by keeping up with appropriate literature and research publication.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology /Nutrition/Dietetics, Chemistry, Bio Technology;
  • Preferably candidate with at least 3 years experience with experience in Food Manufacturing;
  • Knowledge of data analysis and technology, excellent communication and organizational skill;
  • Knowledge of food technology, food microbiology, safe food handling procedures and food service sanitation practices;
  • Willing to travel when required & Possess own transport for traveling.
