Inventory Assistant – NEGERI SEMBILAN

Position Purpose

The primary role for Inventory Assistant is to perform daily system transactions and any admin related tasks, which related to materials movements in line to warehouse and supply chain activities.
This to also includes reporting and analysis, daily stock verification, cycle count, auditing, accounting of breakage, damage, reverse logistics and cost accounting for inventory within the warehouse.
The person is required to protect all information related to company, which classified as confidential such as product cost, supplier detail etc.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

Ensure all daily stock movements are captured accurately in the system and within timeline.
Lead weekly cycle count (every shift), with support from warehouse operations (WO). To verify, reconcile and share result with Materials team on daily basis (via email and during shift briefing).
Assist on monthly stock count activities and preparations. To attend monthly stock count as Data Entry.
Ensure all documents are stored in systematic manner for easy monitoring and retrieval for audit support.
Prepare all inventory related reports & analysis.
Monitor stock level for Indirect Materials & Chemicals based on safety stock level provided by Production team. Raise request forms to replenish out of stock materials.
Maintain clean and neat warehouse and surrounding area.
Follow the correct stock rotation/ movement of stocks within the picking/ storage area, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy and to optimize warehouse utilization.
Attending to any ad-hoc request in relation to warehouse activities

Qualification Criteria

SPM/Certicate/Diploma in logistics, transportation, business management or supply chain
Minimum 6 months’ experience in Warehouse
Knowledge in SAP
This role is based in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan
