In March 2019, Sime Darby Plantation rebranded its entire Downstream operations to Sime Darby Oils (SDO) to realize the full potential of SDP as a trusted brand for its sustainability credentials and superior product qualities. With an extensive global network of facilities in 14 countries, SDO’s operations oversees the trading, manufacturing and sales & marketing of oils and fats products, palm oil-based biodiesel, nutraceuticals and other derivatives.

Your Mission…

  • Responsible for delivering the area sales revenue & volume and ensuring compliance with all company procedures.
  • Review sales performance and provide weekly and monthly report to Distributor Manager.
  • Develop and execute area business plans to drive growth.
  • Identify area business opportunity for both retail and food service channel.
  • Manage relationship with distributors and appoint area distributors.
  • Act as the company representative in area to meet and resolve issues.
  • Manage and monitor daily operation of distributors and retailers to adhere to company policy.
  • Responsible for unsold and collection in area Recruit and visit existing and new retail outlets to manage ordering and merchandising. 

Ideal Candidate…

  • Preferably graduate with Degree in Marketing/Sales/Business or equivalent.
  • Preferably with minimum 3 years sales and marketing in palm oil-based products or FMCG experience.
  • Possess good knowledge of key account and distributor management.
  • Able to use Microsoft Excel for work (preferably an intermediate user).
  • Able to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Bilingual – fluent in English & Malay.
