Technical Officer – IPOH, PERAK
Job Descriptions
- To control parts, documentation, tools and equipment in the section.
- To record and rectify any fault with the betting terminals, network equipment and related equipment at the agency.
- To carry out installation and preventative maintenance for all equipment at the agency or state office.
- To supervise the technical staff and their attendance including monitoring their performance, where applicable.
- To assist in preparation of Workshop Operation reports.
- To train the technicians from time to time to ensure competence in their technical knowledge and workshop practice.
- To repair all equipment to component level, where applicable.
- To check the quality of repair and ensure all equipment/spares are in good condition.
- To standby for fault calls, where applicable. To work on assigned shifts, holidays and overtime as required. To fill in for vacations, illness, emergencies, etc.
- To build and maintain relations with our agency, equipment and telecommunication suppliers to meet our operational objectives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Electric / Electronic Engineering
- Preferable with 1 – 2 years related experience.
- Analytical Skills and Technical Support,
- Must have knowledge and skills in networking.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
