Senior Sales Executive – KUALA LUMPUR

Job Summary and Mission

This job contributes to Berjaya Food Berhad’s success by supporting the Group Key Account Manager in the development and execution of integrated sales & marketing plans and initiatives for the company’s range of products.  Models and acts in accordance with Berjaya’s guiding principles. 

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Oversees assigned key accounts and distributors and maintains profitable long term relationships.  Maintains consistent rapport with assigned distributors and key accounts by conducting regular visits, exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities and regularly plans activation to create excitement for company’s products.
  2. Supports in the development and implementation of merchandising and trade promotion programs and executes effective sales action plans required to meet company’s targets.
  3. Supports the manager to identify new market opportunities and capitalize on existing market.
  4. Maintains and provides accurate and timely data to facilitate decision making.
  5. Works closely with other cross functional teams to ensure efficient execution of sales and marketing programs.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • At least 2 years working experience in FMCG.
  • Experience in distributor management would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions & levels.
  • Demonstrates sound track record for handling high volume key account sales.
  • SPM /Diploma /Professional Certificate in any field.
  • Highly motivated, self disciplined with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet targets.
