R&D Executive – SUBANG JAYA, SELANGOR
Job Descriptions:
- To involve in R&D innovation in the development of new product
- To plan, design and formulate new products for the company; to initiate and plan out the new product development timeline from project creation to realization in production.
- To plan and lead production trial run for quality monitoring before commercial run
- Work on shelf-life determination/study, sensory test, and product specification for new product
- To evaluate new/existing raw material and packaging materials when necessary
- To support HOD in ingredient functionality, process technology, process improvement when in need
- To control and ensure the practice of HACCP, ISO as well as HALAL for R&D Dept; All R&D process and product development need to comply with Food Regulation & food safety standards.
- Assist in R&D lab equipment/instruments handling, maintenance, and calibration.
- Ensure the product cost falls within target.
- Keep proper records for all research and development activities/documents and update the info accordingly.
- To perform other related/ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent in any discipline
- Min 3 years working experience in similar job portfolio/industry. Preferably with general knowledge of food technology, equipment and product development
- Detailed-oriented, initiative and self-discipline
- Meticulous and enjoy R&D works.
- Communicate well within peers and supervisors.
