Finance Executive (GL) -KL ECO CITY
Job Description
GL
- Responsible to prepare accurate and timely management reports and financial statements.
- Liaise with all subsidiaries within the Group on their respective accounts and other financial matters.
- Establishes, modifies, and coordinates the implementation of accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the finance team to ensure the day-to-day operation of overall accounting & financial activities.
- Responsible for organization’s accounting and financial functions such as taxation, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis and feasibility study for expansion.
- Supervises monthly balancing of books and monthly account reviews; prepares, analyzes, and reconciles monthly financial statements.
- Manages all operating and capital budget process activities; forecasts all operational activities, expenditures/costs vs. forecast data to determine progress toward stated Key Performance Indicator goals and objectives.
- Design, plan, implement and improve the accounting & financial policies and procedures.
- Review and analyze financial results and recommend process improvement in cost-control across the company.
- Responsible to supervise, guide and coaching the accounts and finance personnel in their respective job functions and ensure the department operation is running smoothly.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with all reporting, accounting and audit requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.
- Prepare interco & balance sheet reconciliation
- Maintain and update fixed assets schedule, accruals, prepayment & deposits, loan & interest schedule
- Any other ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Candidate must possess a Professional accounting qualification and/or a degree in Accounting/Finance/Law/Taxation or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): MS Office.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English
- MANDARIN will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 – 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to prioritize workload and deliver to tight deadlines and work with flexibility in a fast-moving environment
- Experience preparing and consolidating monthly and annual forecasts, preferred
- Candidates who are pursuing Professional Accounting qualifications (eg. ACCA/CPA) are encouraged to apply.
