Job brief
We seek a result-oriented International Business Executive to support our business expansion endeavour to various countries.
The successful candidate should have experience in business operations and have worked in a support capacity, preferably with a degree in business or marketing. He/she should have a strong positive outlook, be competitive and resourceful, and work in a cross-cultural and team-based environment. He/she must demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. This position requires a strong growth mindset, business understanding, administration skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Support the superior in preparing for business development, including coordination with event organisers, logistical, flight, and accommodation arrangements, and applying travel documents where necessary.
- Support in preparation for matters pertaining to booth set-up which include finished goods and displays. Included also forms and paper works required for business development.
- Carry out market research in a given country on the country’s demographic, regulations, competitors, and their respective competitive pricing.
- Be the contact point for existing export customers for various requests.
- Be the person responsible in providing documentations to export customers for product registration and listing purposes.
- Provide support in business development, be the contact point in furnishing necessary information and perform routine follow-ups to achieve successful appointment of new customers in a given country.
- Support and conduct competitive price studies.
- Serve as a conduit between the export customers and the company to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Where necessary, participate in the exhibition mission.
Requirements
Academic Qualification: A Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred.
Work Experience A proven track record of relevant work experience of at least 5 years. Have considerable experience in working independently.
Goal-oriented, Business Acumen with Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills A global and macroeconomic perspective with solid business acumen. Highly skilled in marketing, numeric analysis, and critical thinking.
Strong Leadership Skills, Adaptive to Cross-cultural Environments Posses strong leadership to function effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills Professional verbal and written communication and good interpersonal skills are required to conduct business activities: register business proposals, conduct meetings, and handle business development communication. A strong command of the English language is essential. Proficient in the Chinese language will be advantageous.
Trustworthiness and Integrity Discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive business information. Demonstrate a high level of integrity in all aspects of conduct.
Growth Highly proactive, with a solid personal growth mindset.
Computer Skills Familiarity with office management technologies. Strong proficiency in using software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Good knowledge of application software, in particular, A.I., Canvas, and Adobe is highly advantageous.
