Roles and Responsibilities

To drive the implementation of data governance initiatives, program, framework, principles, policies, practices and standards within the Bank.
To develop the enterprise data governance structure; establish a data governance committee and define data governance roles, accountability and ownership, and decision rights; lead realization of data as an asset.
To ensure the implementation and roll-out of the data governance. framework and the adherence of the policies and guidelines in projects
To provide consultation to business units, legal and security teams to establish and maintain data policies and standards that enable use-cases and ensure regulatory compliance.
To work in conjunction with the management and liaise with multiple business and support teams across the bank wide on complex data governance projects.
Partner with Business and IT Stakeholders to develop Data Governance Roadmap, including enterprise wide Data Quality Framework and Information Security Policy.

Requirement

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information System, Computer Engineering or any related technical field.
Candidate with 3 to 5 years experience in Data Governance is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with proven track record of at least 5 years working in data governance and/or data analytics in a dynamic environment.
Good technical and business knowledge in financial data, concepts and methodologies, including the statistical systems, applications and BI tools is an added advantage.
Good understanding on standard policies including Enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality Management Process and Information Security Management Policy.
Sound technical knowledge on overall data governance management concept, data analytics and visualization, as well as emerging trends or development.
Strong project and people management skills and experience in stakeholder engagement is a plus.
Good writing skills.
