The Operations team partners closely with ResMed’s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Global Supplier Alliance, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.

Our Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) team is looking for a Procurement Operations Specialist. The GSA team leverage their expertise, relationships, resources and global reach to help deliver the best supply outcomes. Their work touches the lives of many. And the common denominator—no matter the project—is always people: from co-workers and teams at ResMed, to our valued suppliers, and finally, the users of ResMed products and services the world over.

Let’s talk about the role

  • Support end-to-end procurement operation activities
  • Work with internal stakeholders to onboard suppliers
  • Monitoring and maintenance of supplier master data
  • Work with internal requesters to confirm purchase requirements and advise/support requesters on goods/services
  • Provide process and/or system support to internal users
  • Ensure full compliance with Corporate Governance, SOX
  • Provide training to internal stakeholders on procurement operation processes

Let’s talk about you

  • Solid understanding of procurement and experience working in a procurement environment
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, strong problem-solving skills and an exceptional stakeholder/supplier service focus
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and work within strict timeframes
  •  Adopts Procurement and Purchasing process improvement changes, suggests opportunities to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness of the overall procurement and purchasing process
  • A flexible and adaptable team player with a can-do attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Actively collaborates with team members, across borders, to ensure collective purchasing activities are completed as required
  • A positive, resilient and proactive attitude

Qualifications/experiences that are preferred for the position:

  • Some experience working with Oracle Purchasing (or similar purchasing systems) will be advantageous
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Some experience supporting travel category
