Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing company in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about clean energy and experienced in driving sales growth within the solar or renewable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue goals, achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including businesses, municipalities, and institutions.
- Understand client energy needs and provide customized solutions to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and present comprehensive proposals for renewable energy systems and power purchase agreements.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote renewable energy solutions.
- Stay updated on industry developments, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the renewable energy market.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks when required
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience preferably in solar, renewable energy or related industry
- Willing to travel within Malaysia and oversea
- Proficient in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Possess valid driving license.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
