The Medical Officer will provide first-line clinical coverage, handle simple cases, and guide the health care team accordingly with his/her broad and deep understanding of first-line clinical services. He/she will assist the consultant oncologists in running clinics, as well as assist in carrying out procedures and/ or treatments as permitted by the senior doctors.
The Medical Officer will contribute to good clinical governance and provide ongoing clinical and administrative support to the senior doctors in an outpatient oncology setting.
Requirements
- In active clinical practice
- Basic medical degree registrable with the Malaysia Medical Council (MMC)
- Must have obtained full registration with MMC
- Resident Physician should possess a minimum of 3 years’ of experience as Medical Officer (post housemanship) (or equivalent).
- IT skills in office/clinical computer applications is required
