About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join SIEGEN SYSTEMS SDN BHD on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role within our construction division, responsible for overseeing and managing projects from conception through to successful completion. Based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations whilst working with a dynamic and professional team in the construction sector.
What you’ll be doing
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor project progress, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare project schedules (Gantt Chart) , reports, and documentation.
• Manage manpower, materials, and equipment on site.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and standards.
• Monitor and control project costs and resources effectively.
What we’re looking for
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction/project management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project scheduling software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel to project sites.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
