Assistant QA Manager

  • As assistant to QA Manager on all tasks related to QA Division. Propose training needs for division, align with objective or job functions and training program.
  • Act as QA Division Head in the absent of QA Manager.
  • Lead QC/QA team to achieve quality targets for internal, customers and business goals.
  • To ensure all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of SOP & customer requirements.
  • Lead regular morning meetings with representatives from appropriate QC/QA departments to establish an action plan for improving daily quality.
  • Communicate dept. KPIs from the strategic weekly plant so employee is aware the progress.
  • Strong QC/QA background in molding manufacturing environment.
  •  Good knowledge and hands-on experience in 8D Report preparation and follow-up.
  •  Strong understanding of QC 7 Tools and problem-solving methodologies.
  •  Experience in handling customer complaints, customer audits, and customer communication.
  •  Good knowledge of ISO/IATF requirements, including VDA 6.3 and Medical Quality System requirements.
  •  Experience in internal and external audits.
  •  Able to lead audit preparation, audit findings closure, and corrective action follow-up.
  •  Experience in supplier quality management and supplier audits.
  •  Good knowledge in 8D, CAPA, risk analysis and continuous improvement activities.
  •  Familiar with incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control activities.
  •  Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  •  Able to work closely with Production, Engineering, and Suppliers for quality improvement.
  •  Good leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  •  Able to prepare quality reports and present to management and customers.
  •  Experience in handling quality documentation, SOP, WI, FMEA, Control Plan, and PPAP.
  • Any other job assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
