In this role, you will report to the Asia Portfolio Solutions Lead and play a vital part in evaluating and developing crop protection solutions. You will be at the forefront of agricultural science, conducting field trials that translate into real-world value for Malaysian growers.
How You’ll Help Us Grow
As our Product Development Specialist, you will:
- Field Trial Planning and Execution: Conduct agriculture field trials independently to support product registration, sales, and marketing needs.
- Data Analysis: Generate and analyze technical data objectively and precisely to support product efficacy and residue requirements.
- Product Development: Assist in screening and developing crop solutions, ensuring timely completion of tasks for product launches.
- Technical Support: Provide essential technical input to help develop value propositions and training materials for Sales and Marketing colleagues.
- Market Intelligence: Assist in collecting feedback on industry trends, competitive developments, and product performance.
Could This Be You?
We are seeking a motivated professional with a strong passion for crop protection and problem-solving.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Education: A Master’s or PhD in Plant Protection, specializing in Entomology/Plant Pathology/Weed Science or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of crop protection field trial design and execution.
- Language Skills: Ability to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written). The ability to speak Mandarin dialects is highly desirable.
- Adaptability: The ability to multi-task several projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while handling change and uncertainty.
- Team Spirit: A proven “team player” who builds effective working relationships across departments.
- Mobility: Must be able to travel and conduct field trials independently.
