Job Summary
We are looking for a driven and client-oriented Business Development Team Lead to support business growth and lead day-to-day sales activities for recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, payroll, and HR solutions services.
This role is suitable for a hands-on sales professional who is capable of managing client relationships, driving business opportunities, and guiding junior team members while remaining actively involved in sales execution and account growth.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work closely with internal recruitment and operations teams to deliver excellent client solutions and service experience.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, develop, and acquire new clients for recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, payroll, and HR solutions services.
- Manage the sales process including prospecting, pitching, proposal preparation, negotiation, and account follow-up.
- Develop and execute sales action plans to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, hiring demands, and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR leaders, hiring managers, and key decision-makers.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and business reviews for clients.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Support and guide junior Business Development team members in daily sales activities and client engagement.
- Monitor sales pipeline activities, follow-ups, and business opportunities.
- Share market insights, sales strategies, and best practices with team members.
- Collaborate closely with recruitment and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Support management in driving team performance and business growth initiatives.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts and maintain strong client relationships.
- Understand client workforce challenges and propose suitable HR and manpower solutions.
- Ensure timely follow-up and proactive engagement with clients to maintain long-term partnerships.
- Support account growth through cross-selling and upselling of services.
Service Solutions Exposure
Promote and support business growth across the following services:
- Permanent Recruitment
- Contract Staffing
- Outsourcing
- Payroll Services
- Executive Search
- Employer of Record (EOR)
- Managed Workforce Solutions
Networking & Industry Engagement
- Attend networking sessions, business meetings, exhibitions, and industry events to generate business opportunities.
- Represent Elabram professionally in client and external engagements.
- Build and maintain relationships with business communities and industry networks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum 1–5 years of working experience in business development, sales, account management, recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, or other customer-facing roles.
- Experience in recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, or HR solutions industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates from B2B sales, service industry, telesales, banking, insurance, FMCG, or client servicing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with leadership exposure or experience mentoring junior team members will have an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates or junior candidates with strong communication skills, sales interest, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply for junior-level consideration.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Commercially driven with consultative selling capabilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiar with Google Workplace, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools is an added advantage.
